大慧宗杲的著作情況與分類論析

An Analysis of the State and Classification of Dahui Zonggao's Writings

摘要

大慧宗杲禪師（1089-1163）以提倡「看話禪」而聞名於世，是禪宗史上非常重要的人物。本論文首先利用目前學界之研究成果，藉由評析其優缺點來描述與補正大慧著作之概況。然後，藉由較能表達大慧著作情況之書名與分類，來探討其現存著作之版本與流傳，以及分析內容的組織架構。大慧現存的著作，可以分成四個系統：第一個系統是二卷本《大慧普覺禪師語錄》，此中又分成《宗門武庫》一卷與《禪宗雜毒海》二卷；第二個系統是《正法眼藏》三卷；第三個系統是三十卷本《大慧普覺禪師語錄》，此中除了可分成《大慧普覺禪師語錄》、《大慧普覺禪師普說》、《大慧普覺禪師法語》與《大慧普覺禪師書》四種單行本以外，宋版大藏經之中還收有附卷《大慧普覺禪師普說》一卷；第四個系統則是四卷本《大慧普覺禪師普說》。這四個系統共含有九本內容不同的書。

Chan Master Dahui Zonggao 大慧宗杲（1089-1163）was known for his advocation of the meditation method called ＂Kanhua Chan 看話禪＂, which made him a very important figure in the history of Chan school. In addition to presenting the findings concerning Dahui's writings by analyzing current scholarly sources, this article will discuss the issues on the extant editions and its structure through re-classification. Dahui's extant works can be classified into four systems. The first system is the two-volume version of Danhui pujue chanshi yulu 大慧普覺禪師語錄, which includes the one-volume version of Zongmen wuku 宗門武庫 and the two-volume version of Chanzong zaduhai 禪宗雜毒海. The second system is the three-volume version of Zheng fayan cang 正法眼藏. The third system is the thirty-volume version of Danhui pujue chanshi yulu 大慧普覺禪師語錄. Besides four individual versions-Danhui pujue chanshi yulu 大慧普覺禪師語錄, Danhui pujue chanshi pushuo 大慧普覺禪師普說, Danhui pujue chanshi fayu 大慧普覺禪師法語 and Danhui pujue chanshi shu 大慧普覺禪師書-there is an one-volume version of Danhui pujue chanshi pushuo 大慧普覺禪師普說 which was attached in the Song Dynasty edition of the Buddhist Canon. The fourth system is the four-volume version of Danhui pujue chanshi pushuo 大慧普覺禪師普說. These four systems totally include nine individual works.
