屏東縣原住民族中學生對現行升學優待政策支持之研究

A study of the supportability of aboriginal junior and senior high school students toward the preferential policy in Pingtung County

摘要


本研究旨在探討屏東縣原住民族中學生對升學優待的支持情形。為達成研究目的,本研究採用調查法,以自編的「原住民族中學生對現行升學優待政策之支持調查表」為研究工具,針對604位屏東縣原住民國中生和高中生進行調查,在資料處理方面係以百分比與卡方考驗等方法進行分析。依據統計分析的結果,本研究的結論如下:一、大多數原住民族中學生同意經由族語認證以享有升學優待,以及採外加方式錄取原住民學生。二、學生對未取得原住民文化及語言證明者,自99學年度起加分逐年遞減5%,減至10%為止,與對原住民錄取名額以外加2%為限等二項措施的看法意見不一。三、升學優待政策可提高原住民族學生升學機會與激勵求學動機。四、享有升學優待之學生有相當高的比例會憂心課業落後並有自卑感。五、多數學生均期望學校安排學業與生活輔導活動。

The purposes of this study are to investigate and analyze the supportability of the aboriginal high school students toward the preferential policy. In order to achieve the purposes, the researchers collect the data with questionnaire survey. The participants in this study are 604 aboriginal students who study in junior and senior high schools in Pingtung County. The research tool is a self-constructed questionnaire titled "The study of the supportability of aboriginal high school students toward preferential policy". The valid sample data is analyzed with the SPSS for windows 12.0, under the procedures of percentage, and Chi-square test. According to the results of statistical analysis, the conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. Most aboriginal students agree with the preferential policy combined with Aboriginal Language Ability Certification (ALAC), and the way of extra points and extra admission of aboriginal students' numbers. 2. The aboriginal students have different opinions on the preferential policy toward the decreasing extra points of aboriginal students who have no ALAC gradually year by year, and the extra admission of aboriginal students' numbers limited to 2 percentage. 3. The preferential policy can promote the opportunity for the aboriginal students to attend school, as well as inspire their motivation to learning. 4. A pretty high percentage of the aboriginal students who enjoy preferential rights worry that their academic work may lag behind other students, as well as be inferior to other students. 5. Most aboriginal students expect that schools can arrange the guidance programs for their learning and living.
