CONTINUITY OF MULTIPLICATION OF DISTRIBUTORS

In a reference book for distributions [i], it is shown that the multiplication (u, f) ｜→uf on C^∞ × □', as well as on □_M × □', is hypocontinuous. We show here that in both cases it is discontinuous.
