摘要
平腦症(lissencephaly)為一種先天性的腦皮質移行疾病(cortical migration disorder)。腦皮質移行疾病依照移行不足(undermigration)、移行過度(overmigration)以及異位移行(ectopic migration)的不同成因，依序會造成平腦症第一型、平腦症第二型以及腦灰質異位(gray matter heterotopia)。典型的平腦症在磁振造影(magnetic resonance imaging)上可以看到變平的腦皮質以及變淺的腦溝。
