精準的導引系統,在腫瘤內部引爆核彈正子攝影在硼中子捕獲治療扮演的角色

摘要


硼中子捕獲治療(boron neutron capture therapy, BNCT)是一種細胞內的『標靶粒子放射治療』,就像是在腫瘤內部埋入核彈,引爆摧毀腫瘤,對週邊組織傷害極微。BNCT的成功與否取決於腫瘤攝取足夠量的硼-10藥物。含硼藥物的腫瘤與正常組織的濃度比要達到3:1以上,才能達到理想的治療效果。在治療之前,需要透過全身或腦部正子攝影檢查,篩選出適合治療的患者。接下來再進行特殊標定的^(18)FBPA評估含硼藥物在腫瘤與正常組織分布的狀況。醫師可透過18FBPA的結果評估腫瘤/正常組織吸收比率與計算治療劑量。在BNCT各個階段,正子攝影扮演的角色不僅僅是敵情偵測雷達,用來偵測腫瘤的部位與轉移。更是精密的導引系統,讓醫師能夠正確的擬定治療計畫,完成治療腫瘤的終極目標。
