摘要

博物館正在蒐集當下影響人類社會重要事件的故事與資料，也持續蒐藏當代科技與文化生活的物件，乃是基於為未來世代而蒐藏的理念，此即當代蒐藏。博物館進行當代蒐藏除了可以較低的成本取得重要的當代物件之外，更可在原有蒐藏上與當代產生連結，獲得促進公眾參與及藏品近用的效益。雖然當代蒐藏已受學術與實務之重視，但臺灣博物館社群對於當代蒐藏的著墨並不多，本文整理國內、外當代蒐藏相關的文獻，闡述當代蒐藏的內涵本質與現階段當代蒐藏的主要研究成果，探析博物館當代蒐藏的類型與當代蒐藏的挑戰與解決之道，最後提出對臺灣的博物館執行當代蒐藏的建議。

Museums worldwide have been trying to collect stories and information about critical events and everyday life for future generations, i.e., contemporary collecting. Besides the relatively low-costs relatively low to obtain an object now for contemporary collecting, museums could expand their collections, bring them up to date, and make collecting more engaging and accessible. Although the importance of contemporary collecting has been highly regarded in practice and academia, there are few studies regarding contemporary collecting in the Taiwanese community. This article reviewed contemporary collecting literature and illustrated the nature and meaning of contemporary collecting before exploring its types, challenges, and solutions. Finally, the author suggested implementing contemporary collecting for museums in Taiwan.
