法國生態博物館－「演化型」定義及理論概念初探

摘要

生態博物館不論在名稱、定義理論或執行型式實例上，皆根起法國。自1971年代初期創發後，因揭櫫反傳統改革及新博物館學理念，「生態博 物館」一詞遂廣為冠名甚而形成潮流或謂運動，於1980年代中期名享國際。運動迄今雖然已遠，然而冠名濫用之累和諸多曲解，使得2011年英國博物館學教授戴維思(Peter Davis)鉅作《生態博物館：一個地方性的概念》於二版再刷仍提供了非法國本義的錯誤「生態博物館」解讀，本文於是嘗試回歸法國文本論述，以尋求本義。

The term ＂eco-museum＂, as well as its definition and relevant concepts, was coined in France in the early 1970s. It became a world-renowned movement in the mid-1980s as a nouvelle- museology that was contrary to the concepts of the traditional museum. Nowadays, this movement is considered something from the distant past. However, the term ＂eco-museum＂ continues to be misunderstood due to its popular use by unqualified museums and incorrect interpretations by some publications. In his book ＂Ecomuseums: A Sense of Place＂, Peter Davis provides an incorrect interpretation, even in the second edition released in 2011. In this paper, French documents and writings are used to elucidate the true definition of ＂ecomuseum＂ as it originated in France.
