摘要

Bedded chert in Busuanga Island often contains abundant and highly diversified Radiolaria. This report deals with taxonomic studies of Middle and Upper Triassic Radiolaria from a bedded chert section near San Nicolas, Busuanga Island, Philippines. Three radiolarian assemblages can be distinguished from the studied samples . These assemblages are Ladinian Busuanga chengi Assemblage, Carnian Trialatus megacornutus Assemblage, and upper Norian Livarella sp. A Assemblage. In this study over one hundred and fifty radiolarian forms are figured, two new genera and fifteen new species are described.

菲律賓布西安哥島上分布廣泛的層狀燧石沉積層內經常含有豐富的放射蟲化石。本文乃針對布西安哥島南部燧石層中所採集的三疊紀放射蟲所作之分類研究報告。本研究所分析之放射蟲可分為三個具有明顯特徵種之族群。根據其代表性之放射蟲種而命名為中部三疊紀(Ladinian )之Busuanga chengi族群，上部三疊紀( Karnian )之Trialatus megacornutus族群，以及最上部三疊紀(upper Norian) 之Livarella sp. A族群。本文共介紹一百五十餘種放射蟲，其中包括兩個新屬及十五個新種之描述。本研究利用放尤蟲所界定之年代，對該島之板塊活動史之瞭解將有所助益。
