PEITAWOPSIS MONTICOLA, A NEW GENUS AND SPECIES OF THE TRIBE MEGARTHROPSINI FROM SOUTHERN TAIWAN (COLEOPTERA: STAPHYLINIDAE: TACHYPORINAE)

摘要
Peitawopsis gen. nov. monticola spec. nov, is described from a series of specimens taken in the Peitawushan mountain range in southern Taiwan. The genus is assigned to the tribe Megarthropsini of Tachyporinae. The tribe is redefined, the phylogeny of the tribe is briefly discussed and a key to all three genera is presented. Peitawopsis monticola and Megarthropsis decorata are copiously illustrated.
