A REVIEW OF THE GENUS TACHINUS GRAVENHORST (COLEOPTERA: STAPHYLINIDAE: TACHYPORINAE) OF TAIWAN

The species of Tachinus Gravenhorst known from Taiwan are reviewed. Two new species, Tachinus (Tachinoderus) taichungensis and T. (Tachinoderus) yushanensis are described. Tachinus (Tachinoderus) grandicollis (Bernhauer) is redescribed and illustrated. Both new species are illustrated with line drawings and scanning electron photomicrographs. A key is provided to aid in distinguishing all species known from Taiwan.
