The Spirit of the Gift - Derrida's Thinking of the Gift and Deconstruction of Theology

How to accept the gift of thought and the thought of gift - that is a question, which guides our research for Derrida's key thoughts, especially his theology. After having simply described the background of gift-thinking, the thesis concentrates on the condition of that the gift can be given or not from point view of Derrida, whose ＂Er-örterung＂ of the gift as giving to happen, gives us a direction for future's theology. At the same time, we compare Derrida's thought of gift with other thinkers, such as Jean-Luc Marion, so as to show the deeper possible meaning for theology and Chinese thought.
