書評：《三一．創造．文化：根頓神學的詮釋》

Colin E. Gunton was regarded as one of the most influential theologians in the twenty-first century, especially in the revival of the doctrine of Trinity. His Trinitarian theology was not restricted to the doctrine of Trinity but changed our interpretations of all main areas of systematic theology. Trinity, Creation and Culture: An Interpretation of Colin E. Gunton's Theology is the first book in the Chinese world that introduces the life of this great theologian, and his concerns of theology and culture. The book collects eleven research papers written by various Chinese theologians, who were all directly or indirectly affected by his life and thought, concerning different areas of his theology. Through the photos, obituaries and memorial articles, the authors tried to show us the life of Gunton, who was committed as a husband and a father at home, a pa tor in the church, and an inspiring teacher in academic. These elements also worked in the great theologian, such that dialogues between the theology of Gunton and the Chinese culture is possible. The review focuses on the research papers of the authors, criticising their strengths and weaknesses. The authors also raise some questions at the end, hope that they would bring about further discussions and researches.
