手術中電刀引起之燒傷
Burns Caused by Electrocautery During Surgery
摘要
電子儀器廣泛使用於手術以及病患監視設備，方便手術進行，嚴格安全標準的訂定增加手術安全。但是潛在危險如電休克，燒傷等意外，應隨時注意。本次意外乃因過多消毒液，浸濕監視器電極及手術單，於電刀使用後，引發火警，導致患者頸部4%之1至2度燒傷以及3處3度電燒傷。

A 19-year-old male suffering from crushed in-jury on the neck and anterior upper chest with suspected laceration of the trachea underwent emergent operation for surgical restoration of the trachea, First and second degrees of electric burns over the neck and upper back regions( 4%) were accident ally caused by electrocautery during sugery. Shortcircuit due to over-welling of the sheet and EKG lead s may be responsible for this avoidable accident.
