Mr. Ke Qin, a master of "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" in Qing Dynasty, devoted his life to researching Chinese medicine and specializing in "Treatise on Febrile Diseases". He set up a theory about "naming the syndromes after the recipes" and re-edited the "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" in his book "Shanghan Laisu Ji", which had great influence on the medical ideas of future generations. This article investigates the academic achievement of Mr. Ke Qin by analyzing the preface and general outline of "Shanghan Laisu Ji". Hoping that it may contribute a closer understanding of the characteristics of the differential diagnosis characteristics in "Shanghan Laisu Ji".
