This study is to integrate the video game "Wii Taiko Drum Master" into the rhythm learning in the music class of the junior high school and it’s based on quasi-experimentation design. The purpose of the study is to understand if this kind of game-based learning can improve the effective of rhythm learning with higher learning motivation. Research results by comparing the experimental group and the control group indicate that: 1. For the effectiveness of the rhythm learning, the experimental group is better than control group (p< .05). 2. For the motivation of the rhythm learning, the experimental group is higher than control group (p< .05). The conclusion is game-based learning can help student on rhythm learning with better effectiveness and higher motivation.
