本研究旨在了解國小學習扶助學生學習英語時所遭遇的困擾,以及在教學過程中融入行動APP Quizlet,對其學習英語字彙與整體學習感受的影響。研究為個案研究且研究對象為5名新北市蘆洲區某國小的五年級學童,教學課程共18堂,每週4節(每節40分鐘)。本研究透過英語字彙前測、後測卷及字彙學習單,分析學生字彙能力之變化,同時藉由學後回饋單,了解學生對教學融入Quizlet之感受,最後以訪談資料和教室觀察紀錄表之內容,輔助解釋研究結果。依據研究資料與紀錄分析,本研究的主要發現為:一、教學融入Quizlet有助減少學習扶助學生的英語學習困擾。二、教學融入Quizlet有助提升學習扶助學生「看字讀音」與「單字拼寫」能力。三、學習扶助學生對Quizlet的遊戲輔助學習有正向學習感受。
The goal of this study is to understand the learning difficulties of elementary pupils in the remedial program, as well as to investigate the influence of using Quizlet in English vocabulary learning for pupils received remedial instruction. The participants of this study are five fifth-graders involved in remedial program of one of the elementary schools in Luzhou District (New Taipei City, Taiwan). In addition, the experimental teaching includes eighteen classes with four lessons per week (40 minutes per lesson). The English vocabulary pretest, posttest, and the vocabulary worksheet were applied to investigate the pupils' vocabulary knowledge. The post-learning feedback sheet, interview data, and class observation record tables were also record in order to collect the pupils' feedback and experience of learning English vocabulary with Quizlet. Finally, the following results are obtained: 1. Integrating Quizlet in English vocabulary learning is effective in reducing the pupils' learning difficulties. 2. Integrating Quizlet in English vocabulary learning is effective in improving the pupils' 'phonics ability' and 'spelling ability'. 3. It is effective to enhance the pupils' positive learning experience, by using game mode in Quizlet.
