Book collectors' seals contain important information about the former owners and the circulation history of a given book. Therefore, full and correct annotation of these seals is essential for reviewing the information they contain and for study of Chinese rare books history. This article examines some seals recorded in 6 recently published works about Chinese books, raises questions on some annotations as well as provides some suggestions for further discussion.
