臺北市公車路線圖設計之研究－以四季旅遊觀光景點為例

臺北市的公車行駛路線多元、站牌設立密集，對於旅遊來說是移動便利且兼具觀光用途的大眾運具；然而僅有部分區域路段提供較完善清楚的路線圖，例如：臺北市公共運輸處推行的八橫八縱幹線公車（臺北市幹線公車），以及由陽明山國家公園推出的花季公車行駛路線圖。但是，這些地圖上的文字大小、版面擺設並不便於閱讀。本研究借鏡捷運路線圖常使用的拓樸地圖（Topological Map）與八線制（Octolinearity）方法簡化公車路線，僅保留重要資訊，將原本曲折、不規則的路線轉換成工整、系統化圖面，以降低使用者在閱讀地圖時找尋路線的困難，在節省畫面空間的同時，增加資訊容量以及適當的閱讀行距；並以四季景點為主題，提供遊客合適的臺北旅行方案。景點資訊來源使用臺北市政府觀光傳播局2021年1月在其所營運的臺北旅遊網上公開的《2021玩台北》之活動摺頁，並將其景點導覽地圖的資訊將作為本研究地圖區域範圍設定依據。設計實作之後，邀請了具設計背景之專家進行焦點團體法，了解此一設計確實符合四季的主題，且路線清楚；惟因尺寸限制，字級大小需再加斟酌。另外，地圖上的視覺設計可再凸顯「四季」這個主軸。本研究預計未來調整地圖設計後，實際邀請居住在台北少於一年以及多於一年的大學生協助測試，期能在未來公開於網路上供大眾下載使用。

Bus in Taipei provides plentiful routes and stops for people to move in a convenient way. This public transportation is not only for shifting locations, but also including the function of sightseeing. However, only a few bus route maps were provided for purposes such as main line route buses and flower-viewing bus in Yangmingshan National Park. However, the font size and layout are not easy to review. This study aims to simplify the routes on the map with the most important information via the approaches of Topological Map and Octolinearity which are often utilised to metro maps. These approaches transform tortuous routes to tidy and systematic pattern to reduce the difficulties of searching a route on the map. While attempting to save space on the map for more information, it is also important to present proper line spacing for reading. The theme of the map design is based on four seasons. The attraction spots in this map were chosen from a marketing material ' 2021 Fun Taipei' which was published by the Department of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government in 2021. Due to the weather are differ from seasons, featured attractions were thus arranged. The designed map was reviewed by design experts for further suggestions. This map is indeed fit the theme of four seasons attractions sightseeing with clear routes. Nevertheless, the size limitation of the map causes small fonts which is not easy to read for elders. In addition, apart from the map, the theme of four seasons should be emphasised via visual design. This map will be revised and tests by people who have been living in Taipei less than one year and more than one year to obtain user experience for further improvement. Moreover, the completed map is expected to be download from the internet in the future.
