我國「昆蟲化學語言」的研究近況
RECENT STUDIES OF INSECT CHEMICAL COMMUNICATIONS IN TAIWAN

Sex pheromones and allomones of important insects studied at our Institute are reviewed to the present time. Two major defensive secretion isolated from the eversible cervical membrane gland (osmeterium) of the Papilio memnon heronus have been identified as iso-butyric acid and 2-methyl butyric acid by gas chromatography mass spectrometry.
