斜紋夜蛾（Spodoptera litura F.））之生物學III.成蟲配對密度對交尾能力的影響

摘要

以人工飼料於25℃, 75±5% RH, 13L：11D的生長箱內，累代飼育斜紋夜蛾（Spodoptera litura（F.）），調查成蟲配對密度對交尾能力的影響。結果顯示在180cm^2的空間內，當雌、雄蛾配對數目相同時，交尾率（Y）和配對密度（X）間有Y=1.569-0.028X（γ=-0.968**）的迴歸直線關係，即隨配對密度增加而交尾率下降，當一隻雌蛾與不同隻數雄蛾配對時，雌蛾一夜的交尾次數增為二次，以雄蛾與雌蛾性比為3：1時的交尾率94%為最高，但各性比之交尾率間無顯著差異。當一隻雄蛾與不同隻數雌蛾配對時，以雄蛾與雌蛾性比為1：2時的交尾率為72%最高，以後交尾大致隨雌蛾隻數之增加而下降，但各性比之交尾率間無顯著差異。若多隻雄蛾配對一隻雌蛾時比一隻雄蛾配對多隻雌蛾時，其交尾率通常高約20%。

The tobacco cutworms (Spodoptera litura (F.)) were reared with artificial diet under 25C, 75 ±5% RH, 13L:11D conditions. The influence of pairing density on the mating ability was investigated in a cup of 180 cm^3 with 2-day-old adults initially. The following results were obtained: under the sex ratio of 1:1, there is a linear regression relation of Y=0.569-0.028X (r=0.968**) while Y is the mating rate and X is the pairing density. Accordingly, as the number of provided adults increased, the mating rate decreased. When one female was paired with different number of males, a few females mated twice in a night. The highest mating rate (94%) is obtained in the treatment of 1♀:3♂. There were no significant difference on the mating rates among the tested groups statistically. When one male was paired with different number of females, one male to two females group showed the highest mating rate (72%). As the increase of the number of provided females, the mating rate decreased, and no significant difference was observed on the mating rate among the tested groups statistically. When more than two males were paired with single female, the higher mating rates will obtained than the case of single male and plural females combination.
