A New Species of the Genus Anascirtothrips Bhatti (Thysanoptera：Thripidae) from Taiwan
臺灣Anascirtothrips屬薊馬之一新種
摘要
Anascirtothrips discordiae n. sp. (Thripidae) from Taiwan is described and illustrated. Anascirtothrips discordiae n. sp. is found from Porcelain ampelopsis and Ficus septica in Taiwan. This species is characterized by having antennal segments IV and V in equal length, and abdominal sterna III-VII with brown antecostal lines.

Anascirtothrips discordiae 為薊馬科 (Thripidae)，Anascirtothrips 屬中之一新種，此新種採自臺北縣汐止之山葡萄 (Porcelain ampelopsis) 及稜果榕 (Ficus septica) 之葉上。其特徵主要為：觸角第四節與第五節等長，而腹部第3-7節腹板上具褐色之前緣內隆起線 (antecostal lines)。
