摘要

在新興國家市場需求及顯示新應用之市場開拓下，全球顯示器市場需求預估仍是呈現增長之趨勢。中國大陸具龐大內需市場基礎，並於政府政策有計畫性之支持下，面板生產投資熱潮於各地如火如荼地展開。除液晶面板(liquid-crystal display,LCD)生產投資，新顯示技術有機發光面板(activematrix organic light emitting display, AMOLED)在韓國大廠持續挹注研發投資下，逐漸進入終端產品市場，開始量產投資階段，中、韓各大面板廠之設備投資支出逐年增長，全球重要顯示器設備廠商均展現新一波成長動能。面對新顯示技術趨勢及產能需求，面板廠商及其相關供應鏈之材料、設備產業之投資動向及決策均是影響未來產業地位之決勝關鍵。

The global display market forecast continued growth according to the emerging markets and new applications. Mainland China has a huge domestic market with rapid and sustainable economic growth. Chinese companies are betting big on liquid-crystal display (LCD) with the subsidiary support from government. In the meantime, the active matrix organic light emitting display (AMOLED) products of South Korea came on the market. It shows the new technology-AMOLED has been ready to enter the mass production phase. Both China and South Korea invested big in panel manufacturing. All material suppliers and equipment manufacturers in panel industry should take the opportunity to obtain the biggest benefits in the future.
