Applications and Power Systems of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

The global market for commercial applications of UAV technology will balloon to as much as $127 billion by 2020.The main UAV applications include delivery, photography and as a platform for communication or Internet. High payload and long endurance are the most important performance indexes for a commercial UAV. And possible solutions include using gasolinepowered engine, hydrogen and fuel cell, solar power and tethered UAVs.
