Introduction of Auto Tuning Technology of Servo System in Machine Tool

摘要


工具機是機械結構、伺服系統和控制器三者的結合,通常機台在出廠前為了符合性能指標會經過調教,出廠後機械經過長時間運作,會造成性能的劣化而需要重新調教,其中伺服參數的調整,是過程最為繁複卻也影響重大,因此商用控制器的廠商多數都有開發自動調機的功能。本文介紹目前工具機控制器關於伺服參數的自動調試技術與發展方向,另外工研院智慧機械中心藉由模擬控制器的軌跡,可預測參數對運動軌跡的影響,分析參數調整是否符合需求,並發展出可根據使用者加工需求,自動調整參數的技術,期望目標是簡化並建立參數調整的標準流程。

A machine tool is a combination of mechanical structure, servo systems and controllers. It is turned before delivering to the customer to make sure it meets all requirements. After a certain period of operation, the performance degrades and the machine tool requires re-tuning. During the process, parameter adjustment is the most complicated procedure and is crucial to the controller. Thus, most commercial controllers equip automatic tuning feature. This paper introduces the current development and trend of the auto tuning technology for the servo parameters of the controller. ITRI's Intelligent Machinery Technology Center has developed a technology to predict the impact of the parameters of the tool trajectory by simulating the trajectory from the controller. The parameter adjustment is analyzed to see whether it meets the requirement. The technology that automatically adjusts parameters according to the user's machining needs was developed. The goal is to simplify and establish a standard process for parameter adjustment.
