Developments and Applications of 5G in Smart Manufacturing

摘要


未來製造業趨勢將面臨少量多樣的高度客製化需求,企業紛紛藉由導入智慧製造來因應市場需求,隨著感測器與智慧科技的導入,衍生了龐大的傳輸需求;5G為新一代的行動通訊技術,具有的技術優勢能夠加速製造業邁向智慧製造。本文將針對智慧製造的發展,以及製造領域中5G的應用機會和主要應用進行說明。

Current manufacturing trends show that, in the future, manufacturing industry will face small batch size, diversity and customized requirements from customers. Hence many companies have introduced smart manufacturing in response to the market demands. With the introduction of sensors and smart technologies, the demand for massive data transmission has increased. 5G is a new generation of mobile communication technology with capability to accelerate the manufacturing industry to move toward smart manufacturing. This article will introduce the development of smart manufacturing as well as the main applications of 5G in the manufacturing field.
