In recent years, the authors have come across a hundred or so bronze weapons that bear inscriptions. Although these pieces are now in different collections around the world, copies or rubbings of these inscriptions have been kept, and are available for scholars who wish to study them. In this article thirty-six items have been chosen and are accompanied by annotations. Where previously unknown or new words appear, interpretation is given which we hope will stimulate further study.
