Follow the Founding Editor's Footsteps: Ensure Fairness and Emphasize Diverse Theoretical Approaches

This issue is dedicated to Professor Joseph Man Chan, the founding editor of Communication and Society, for his devotion and contribution to the journal. Professor Chan's term of service as the editor of the journal ended in mid- January this year. Under the founding editor and a prestigious editorial team, Communication and Society has been widely recognized as a reputable journal in Chinese communication. The new editor and the editorial team will follow the founding editor's footsteps. Our mission is to provide a platform for advancing Chinese communication research and publishing state-of-the-art research articles. The journal will continue its steady growth by emphasizing theory and diverse perspectives and by ensuring fairness in reviewing manuscripts.
