Hyperthyroidism with Unusual Pleural Effusion Presentation- A Case Report
摘要
The typical symptoms of hyperthyroidism consist of weight loss, palpitation, anxiety and thyroid goiter. We report a hyperthyroid patient with unusual presentation of weight gain, legs edema and pleural effusion. After thyrotoxicosis was controlled by anti-thyroid drug, the symptoms were all dismissed completely.
