從「佛光禪」看當代禪法修學的人文特質

摘要

從中國禪宗傳統法系上說，星雲大師及其創立的佛光山教團，承接臨濟宗統，但其所開創的「人間佛教佛光禪」，在接引方式、禪修項目設計、環境安排、具體指導等，則突出信行並重，定慧兼弘，悲智雙運，並充分結合當代社會人心、知識之情境現狀，別開禪法之新風。不僅充實傳統禪法現代化的內容，頗受佛教學界所關注，而且在禪法普及的廣度、禪法修學的技巧化等諸多方面，皆能夠較好地彰顯佛教的人文特質。本文結合「佛光人間生活禪」的思想建構，及其數十年來的相關進展，簡述其將傳統禪法融入人間生活，通過生活與禪法的統一，透顯人間佛教、生活佛教、生命佛教的精神內涵。

From the system of Chinese Buddhism Schools, the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Order founded by Venerable Master Hsing Yun derives their lineage from the Linji School, but the creation of ＂Humanistic Buddhism Fo Guang Meditation＂ enables the contemporary people to practice Chan using a collaboration of theory and practice, equal emphasis of meditative concentration and wisdom, as well as compassion and wisdom. Not only does it bring a shift from tradition to a modern method, it also shows the features of humanity through Buddhism. This paper combines the developmental thoughts behind ＂Fo Guang Chan for Everyday Life＂ and over ten years of progress, outlining how it integrated traditional Chan into daily life, combining daily life and Chan, to show the integration between Humanistic Buddhism, Living Buddhism and a Buddhist Life.
