摘要

本文由考察「人間佛教」一語的英譯出發，通過梳理和分析星雲大師對人間佛教思想的代表性的界說和定義，闡述星雲大師人間佛教思想中的人文精神。「星雲模式」人間佛教思想的「人文精神」的形成，既有歷史的時代的影響和烙印，更是星雲大師獨特的個性氣質和長期的弘法經歷使然。

This paper first introduces a few English translations of the term 〞Humanistic Buddhism,〞 and then analyzes Venerable Master Hsing Yun's main definitions of Humanistic Buddhism. Finally, the paper discusses the humanistic spirit of Humanistic Buddhist thoughts advocated by Venerable Master Hsing Yun. The inception of the humanistic spirit of 〞Venerable Master Hsing Yun's model〞 of Humanistic Buddhism is deeply influenced by both the historical era and Venerable Master's unique personality, as well as his long-term propagation of the Dharma.
