摘要

香港佛光道場是香港佛教公益事業的重要機構之一，事業涵蓋教育、扶貧、醫療、救災、青少年服務等。其特點是慈善事業內容多樣化，與教育、文化、法會等協調發展，且慈善事業組織化、制度化，公益事業流程透明，並與香港政府取得良好合作。佛教公益事業有助於佛教以「宗緣」為主的福利行動模式的開展，達到教化之功效。
