臺灣大學植物系標本館日據時期之臺灣植物標本採集地點目錄
Localities in Taiwan from Specimens of TAl Herbarium before 1945
摘要
植物標本是研究植物分類的基本素材，採集地點則是採集新鮮材料及研究分布不可或缺的資料。臺灣由於政體幾度轉變，文化接觸複雜，加上行政區域時加變動，故地名演變之情形普遍頻繁。尤其是日據時期，語音文字有差異，其標本採集標籤或用日文書寫，或以羅馬拼音書寫日語。由於地名變更，不但不諳熟日語者無法瞭解其正確地點。即使是諳熟日語者亦不免要費心找尋。因此本文旨在整理羅列臺灣大學植物系標本館日據時期臺灣植物標本採集地點，以減輕查詢採集地者之負擔。本目錄為方便不同使用者使用，儘量保存標籤原始資料，逐一羅列，再配以新舊地名演變，輔以縣市所在地，以為地區植物誌之用，最後以經緯度定其所在，此將不再受地名演變影響。

Plant specimens are the basic material for the taxonomic study, while the collecting localities ate valuable information for collecting fresh plants and studying phytogeography. Owing to the transfer of the governments, the reception of different cultures, and the frequent change of admininstrative districts, the change of locality names in Taiwan are rather common. Thus it is hard to trace where the localities are from the specimen labels during the period of Japanese occupation due to the different letters and pronounciation comparing to those of Chinese. Therefore, The purpose of this catalogue is to compile the Taiwan's plant collecting localities during the period of Japanese occupation from the specimens kept in TAl-Herbarium, Botany Department, National Taiwan University, in order to be more handy to the researchers for consulting. The catalogue bears old Chinese name, new Chinese name, romanized pronounciation and Japanese pronounciation for presenting the original data. Present district zones are added to be used by the local floristic students. The collecting localities will be easily traced no matter how often the names are changed when longitude and latitude are also provided.
