In late 1992 and early 1993, the authors investigated the molluscan fauna of the Pescadores and noted that many species should be added as new records (marked "N" after species) in this field. In this paper, there are 686 species in 113 families, 22 orders, 5 classes listed literarily. Among them, 109 families are marine, 2 families of freshwater and 2 families, land snails. This investigation also came to a conclusion that the molluscan fauna of the Pescadores is very much similar to that of the tropical West Pacific, because of the strong influence of the warm Kuroshio current.
