This report of the fishes found in the waters around the coastal lines of the southern-most part of Taiwan is based on specimens collected from March, 1968, to August, 1968. Among them, the following 14 species are newly added to the ichthyofauna of Taiwan: Gymnothorax petelli (Bleeker), Plesiops nigricans (Rüppell), Amphiprion frenatus Brevoort, Chromis bitaeniatus Fowler & Bean, Dascyllus aruanus (Linne'), Pomacentrus moluceensis Bleeker, Abudefduf dickii (LiénardI, Abudefduf amabilis (De Vis), Labroides dimidiatus (Cuvier & Valenciennes), Pygoplites diacanthus (Boddaert), Centropyge bieolor (Bloch), Centropyge heraldi Schultz, Heniochus permutatus Cuvier & Valenciennes, and Brachirus zebra (Quoy & Gaimard).
