台灣產之淡水性雙殼貝類
FRESHWATER BIVALVE MOLLUSKS OF TAIWAN
摘要
本文主要報告台灣產淡水性雙殼貝類，共包括3科7屬9種。對於每一種貝類，除詳列其學名、同種異名、形態特徵、產地、分佈及棲息環境等外，並附有精美的圖版，作文字說明之印證，以供各界分類參考之用。

The Formosan freshwater bivalves were investigated by previous authors such as Horikawa (1935), Kuroda (1941), Pace (1975) and Wu (1980). However, morphological as well as ecological studies of these organisms were not included, and the distribution of them in this island has been so far superficially known. In the present study, additional information based on examinations of the collections deposited at Taiwan Museum, as well as a general survey conducted in various market shops. In all, 3 families, 7 genera, and 9 species of the Formosan freshwater bivalves are presented herewith. For each species, the synonyms, diagnosis, distribution map, habitat, and photographs are provided.
