以腦波訊號探討不同課程之學習專注力與認知負荷之差異

Using Brainwave Signals to Measure the Attention and Cognitive Load on Different Courses

摘要


腦波是人腦內神經細胞活動時所產生的電壓訊號,呈現在科學儀器上就像波動一樣,因此稱為腦波。本研究利用腦波偵測頭戴(BrainLink Lite)量測學生在不同課堂上的專注力,並結合認知負荷量表探討在學習過程中專注力的高低,找到每位學生對於不同課程的負荷以及專注差異。實驗數據中可以發現,測試者在科技英文以及演算法課堂上學習時,科技英文的專注力大多高於演算法課程。另外在複習方面,大部分測試者專注力與第一次學習差異不大,而複習認知負荷跟第一次學習的負荷相較之下複習負荷明顯變低。認知負荷方面探討出測試者學習負荷越高的教材,專注值所呈現出來較低,負荷越低則專注所呈現出來較高,此差異較為明顯。此研究結果可供日後教學者做為參考。

Brain waves are voltage signals generated when nerve cells in the human brain move. Presented on scientific instruments is like waves, so it is called Brainwaves. This study combines brain wave detection equipment (BrainLink Lite) measure students' attention in different classes. Combined with the cognitive load scale to explore the level of attention in the learning process, and find each student's load on different courses and attention on differences. In the experimental data, it can be found that when the testers are learning in science and technology English and in the algorithm class, the concentration of science and technology English is mostly higher than that of the algorithm course. In addition, in the review, most of the testers had little difference between the focus and the first learning, and the review load was significantly lower compared with the load of the first learning. In the aspect of cognitive load, the teaching materials with higher learning load of the testers were lower, and the attention value was lower. The lower the load was, the higher the concentration was. This difference was more obvious. The results can be used as a reference for teachers.
