Iranian nuclear issue has looming large as a serious threat to regional security. Under international sanctions, Islamic Iranian regime could still consistently resist international pressure just because of China's strong support. Beijing has expressed its disagreement to Iranian nuclear program. However, it has never taken any realistic measures to solve this issue. Instead, it continuously delayed and diluted almost every U.N. sanction. To China, the underlying motivation is certainly huge economic benefits and geostrategic concerns. Therefore, the U.S. and international community should seriously exploit every proper and effective measure to force the P.R.C to cooperate. Otherwise, all measures are doomed to fail.
