探討我海軍陸戰隊未來發展趨勢

一、後阿富汗時期的美國海軍陸戰隊面對現代作戰環境的改變、美國國債問題的影響與外交政策的走向，迫使其面臨經費的緊縮、人員的裁減與對其固有「兩棲作戰」能力所產生的質疑。二、我國海軍陸戰隊同樣面臨軍事戰略的調整、兩岸的政治環境、募兵制的影響與國軍組織的調整等挑戰。三、面對挑戰同時，我國海軍陸戰隊也在中共持續的威脅、東南海的領土主權爭議、國際人道救援與災難救助、國內救災任務與推廣海洋國家理念的實踐等方面看到機會。四、因為美國海軍陸戰隊現階段所面對的挑戰與我多有相似之處，本文藉美軍因應挑戰的努力為借鏡，提出我海軍陸戰隊以「量小、質精、戰力強」為目標的未來發展趨勢建議。

Marine Corps, this paper expects to mirror U.S. Marine Corps' endeavors and to propose suggestions to our Marine Corps' future development under an effort to build a ＂Streamlined, Qualified and Capable＂ force.
