The Genus Zanchius Distant (Hemiptera: Miridae) of Taiwan

摘要

Four species of Zanchius Distant from Taiwan are recognized. One new species, Z. formosanus Lin, n. sp., and two new records, Z. marmoratus Zou, 1987, and Z. tarasovi Kerzhner, 1987 from Taiwan are reported. A description of the male and re-description of the holotype female of Z. apicalis Poppius are included. A key to the species of Zanchius Distant of Taiwan and figures of the male genitalia are included. The type series are deposited in the National Museum of Natural Science (NMNS) and Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute (TARI), both of Taichung, Taiwan.
