The Genus Mitius Gorochov (Orthoptera: Gryllidae) from Taiwan

摘要

The genus Mitius Gorochov from Taiwan is recorded for the first time in this study. Three species of this genus are described and illustrated, i. e., a new species, Mitius minutulus Yang and Yang; a new combination, Mitius splendens (Shiraki, 1930) (transfered from Gryllus); and Mitius blennus (Saussure), a species recorded as new to Taiwan. A key to the 3 species is also provided.
