摘要

Life history and larval food plants of 40 species in 32 genera of Notodontidae were studied in Shanpin area, Kaoshiung County. Except for one species collected as larvae from the field, the other 39 species were reared from egg stage to the pupal stage or adult stage. Morphology, feeding habits, recorded food plants, and the plants used for rearing were included. The interrelationship between notodontids and plants was also discussed.
