Man's Redemption and the Redeemer's Redemption: An Understanding of Lu Xun's Humanistic Image under the Comparison between the Contexts of Christian Culture and of Chinese Culture

Both madman in Lu Xun's Madman's Diary and Jesus Christ in Bible are redeemers, but they differ in their redemption's foundation, way, end and revelation to human being. The former is based on human nature, the way he choses to redeem is limited and relative; But the latter is based on divinity, the only way that leads to limitless and absolute redemption. Madman's redemption is not fundamental and therefore can not be relied upon.
