With a language and an art form uniquely his own, Ding Fang conveys the indigenous tragic experience in term of Divine Light illumining a God-forsaken land. With this premise, Ding Fang's art contemplates and critiques man's natural enchantment with primordial life and his modernist narcissism. In this challenging journey of the soul, he strives to break through the confines of nationalistic art and modernistic art, to explore a new and sacred terrain where Chinese art and the Divine can meet.
