摘要
本文以文学研究的进路为线索，历时性地考察了过去二百年圣经批评科学的特点：自圣经文学研究进路的缘起和演变始，继而考察它对文学文化研究的影响及相互间交叉、越界等错综复杂的关系。通过上述聚焦，本文进一步探究了“作为神圣文本的圣经”与“作为文学的圣经＂之间的张力，分析了“作为文学的圣经＂遇到的困境，以及由此引发的系列研究与思考。最终结论是，圣经将会不屈不挠地保持疏离和独立，但同时也会密切卷入文化和批评议题，那些议题常常是由它引起的，也反映在对它的解读中。在影响西方文化与文学的过程中，圣经将会启发新的文学和艺术作品，同时，也将对那些作品做出回应，并因为那些作品而变得更加丰富，如此互动无穷，走向无法预知的尽头。

The article takes a literary critical approach to examine diachronically the particularities of two hundred years of Biblical criticism: from the very beginnings and early changes in the methodologies of the study of biblical literature through to its impact and interaction with the broader study of literature and culture, including boundary-crossing and inter-disciplinary relationships. The article further probes the tension between ＂Bible as sacred text＂ and ＂Bible as literature,＂ and analyzes the dilemma in the study of the ＂Bible as literature＂ and questions related to this. The conclusion is drawn that the Bible can stand resolutely apart and separate, yet also be inextricably involved in the cultural and critical issues to which it often gives rise and which its reading reflects. In the course of its influence on western literature and culture, the Bible has inspired new literary as well as artistic works, and at the same time responded to, and been enriched by, these works, and this interaction will continue in unpredictable ways into the future.
