從舊約聖經看教會在社會中的祭司角色

The Priestly Role of the Church in Society from the Light of the Hebrew Bible

並列摘要

The church is expected to carry the role of the priest in society as we may read, "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1Peter 2:9 NRS)." From the light of the Hebrew Bible, the priest serves in sacrificial ritual, keeps and teaches the Torah, maintains justice and purity for society, guards the king and the nation walking along with the truth of God, and even supports the national military action. But among these priestly ministries, some have been suspended in different periods in the Bile. Today, the church with the role of the priest could hang the ministries of military and jurisdiction to the time of eschaton, but invite people to earn the atonement through and to learn the truth of Jesus Christ by the way of worship. In so doing, the church serves the society to become the society of Christ, a society in which one loves other as oneself according to Lev. 19:18 known as the second part of the greatest commandment that Jesus commanded.
