Ma-Chu was born in the Northern Song dynasty (960). Although the geographic origins comes from the southeast coast of China. As well as the historical and social changing of Taiwan, the Ma-Chu Belief in Taiwan has developed a unique religious and socio-cultural phenomenon especially in the sense of Taiwanese identity and community cohesion. Most of Taiwanese worship and believe that Ma-Chu as a savior and a protector in their life struggling She always listen their prayer with compassion, engage to save the adherents from suffering and dangerous situation instantly For hundreds of years, Ma-Chu not only one of god for many Taiwanese believing but also like a mother take care of her children in the family, a powerful and reliable guard protect homeland from stress of incurable diseases and damage of natural disaster. Ma-Chu belief plays a very important role in Taiwan's people, society and history development. The adherents of Ma-Chu built up uniqueness of worship style by their different experience.
