Teaching Strategies of Chinese as a Foreign Language Based on Sociocultural Theory

摘要


Sociocultural Theory founded by Vygotsky, a psychologist of the Soviet Union. It emphasizes second language learners should not only pay attention to their own internal process of absorbing knowledge, but also lay stress on the influence of external social and cultural factors on second language acquisition. Through Sociocultural Theory, discussing the strategies of teaching Chinese as a foreign language under the guidance of the theory of social culture.
