In the newly amended Special Education Law Regulations (2012), it is stipulated that the Behavior Intervention Plan should be developed for the students with emotional disabilities and behavioral problems. The special education teachers face increasing challenges when writing IEP recently. This article discusses the development of BIP in legislation and analyzes its elements and significance. The application and design of BIP in IEP are also presented to help special educational teachers in teaching and writing BIP in IEP in practice.
