檔案應用與使用者研究

檔案管理之最終目的乃是為促進檔案之開放與運用，充分發揮檔案功能。而檔案館的功能，除了蒐集、整理及典藏具有持續性保存價值之檔案外，提供民眾及研究者所需之檔案資訊，亦是其重要的功能之一；而近年來，「因為檔案的被利用，使得檔案有價值」的觀念更是盛行，如何使我國檔案管理局之檔案應用服務組織功能得以充分發揮，以提供國人更適切之檔案應用服務管道與空間，已益形重要。本文旨在透過國內外有關檔案應用與使用者研究之相關論述，探討檔案應用理論之概念，進而針對檔案使用者研究理論進行探究，最後則對國內外有關檔案應用與使用者之研究進行分析與探討。

The objective of archival management is to promote the publicity and utilization of the archives, and to optimize the functions of the archives. The functions of archives are not only to collect and preserve records with permanent preservation value, but also to provide needed information for the users. Recently, the concept of ＂through the use of archival data, the archives will be more valuable＂ becomes quite popular. Thus, to optimize the functions of archival service organizations of National Archives Administration in order to provide suitable services becomes more important. In this study several articles about the theory of access to archives and user studies have been reviewed, and the approaches of using archives in different counties are also being investigated. Finally, the methodologies in access to archives have been analyzed and their interactions with user studies are also being ivestigated.
