In the periodic table, there are a total of 10 longitudinal rows from Groups IIIB to IIB, plus a total of more than 60 elements from the lanthanides and actinides (63 of the original 107 elemental cords), which are in the two main groups of elements the middle position, people are used to call it the transition element. The transition elements are all metals, so they are also called transition metals. Transition metals often have greater hardness, better ductility, stronger electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. Transition metals have important uses in industrial and agricultural production, science and technology, and national defense. They play a pivotal role in the national economy. Metal-organic chemistry, as a new interdisciplinary subject, is at the forefront of modern organic chemistry research. Transition metal organic compounds is the core of the metal organic chemistry research, is mainly due to the transition metal organic compounds with high reaction activity, stability and selectivity, etc., thus caused chemical workers attaches great importance to, and, in turn, has opened a lot of research work, in the human health, environmental protection, energy development and other fields have played an important role. In recent years, the strategy of combining photoinduced photosensitizer with transition metal catalysis has been widely used in the synthesis of complex molecules and natural products, which is consistent with the concept of developing "green chemistry" (Lu Bo, Huang Pengfei,2017). However, some experimental results and phenomena cannot be explained, the reaction mechanisms involved are not clear, and it is difficult to understand the factors that control the reactivity and selectivity of chemical reactions, such as substituents, ligands, solvents and additives. These problems restrict the development and application of metal-organic chemistry. Therefore, it is of great significance to develop new synthetic reactions, to promote the development of modern organic chemistry, to conduct systematic theoretical research, to explore reaction mechanisms at the molecular level, and to reveal the microscopic properties of chemical reactions through quantum chemical calculation (Rupert S. J. Proctor, Holly J,2018). In this paper, the importance of transition metals in the field of catalysis will be studied from three kinds of reactions using transition metals as catalysts.
